    List of Ingredients


    • Sauce:
    • 2 carrots, cooked and chopped fine
    • 3 Tbsp. minced onions
    • 13 oz. can mushrooms, drained
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1 can beef gravy
    • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice


    Instructions


    1. Tenderize a 4 to 5 lb. chick roast with a tenderizer and let stand at room temperature. Make sauce: simmer carrots, minced onions, mushrooms and water for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer another 5 minutes. Brown meat on grill 2 � from the coals for 30 minutes, turning frequently. Place meat in Dutch oven and pour sauce over; cover and cook for 1 hour.
