freezer cucumbers that taste like bread and butter pickles
FROZEN CUCUMBERS....
..12 CUCUMBEERS, PEELED AND SLICED NOT TOO THIN.
2 ONIONS, SLICED,
2 GREEN PEPPERS,CHOPPED
MIX THESE TOGETHER IN STAINLESS STEEL PAN OR LARGE BOWL..........
MIX 2 CUPS OF WHITE VINEGAR,
2 CUPS SUGAR AND 1/4 CUP OF SEA SALT.
BRING TO A BOIL AND BOIL UNTIL CLEAR... COOL AND THEN POUR OVER THE CUCUMBERS, ONIONS AND PEPPERS AND LET SET OVER NIGHT OUT OF REFRIG. AND THEN PACK TO FREEZE IN PINT JARS OR WHATEVER...WE EAT THEM FRESH NOW AND I HAVE THEM IN THE REFRIG. ALL SUMMER LONG.....THEY ARE SOOO GOOD....THEY WILL KEEP QUITE A WHILE IN THE REFRIG.. IF YOU FREEZE LET THEM THAW in REFRIG.BUT BEST WHILE ICE IS STILL ON THEM...THEY ARE THE BEST...MONA
