No-Bake Chocolate Drop Cookies

Recipe Introduction


The trick to making this recipe, is to work as quickly as possible dropping the hot batter on the waxed-paper lined cookie sheet.


List of Ingredients




2 cups sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 tbl. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups oatmeal

Recipe



Bring sugar, margarine and milk to a boil in large pan. Boil for 3-4 minutes. Remover from heat. Add vanilla and stir. In large bowl, combine cocoa, salt, and oatmeal. Add oatmeal mixture to hot mixture and mix well. Working quickly, while mixture is still warm, drop by tablespoon onto waxed paper lined cookie sheet and allow to cool. Remove from waxed paper and store in covered container.
