Beef Enchilada Casserole

2 lbs. lean ground beef
3 small onions, chopped
Dash garlic powder
1 (4 oz.) can green chiles, chopped
1 dozen tortillas
1 (10 oz.) can enchilada sauce
1/2 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (10-3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Recipe
Combine ground beef, chopped onions, garlic powder, and chopped green chiles in a skillet. Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Dip 3 tortillas in enchilada sauce and place in the bottom of a shallow greased casserole dish. Add one-fourth of the meat mixture, spreading to form a thin layer. Add one fourth of cheese, then one-fourth of the soup. Continue layers of tortillas, meat, cheese, and soup until all ingredients have been used. Pour any remaining enchilada sauce over the top. Bake at 450� F. for 20 minutes. Yield: 8 servings.
