    EZ Chicken and Rice Casserole

    1-1/2 cups long grain rice
    1-1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
    3 lb. meaty chicken pieces or one 2-1/2 to 3 lb. Broiler/fryer, cut up
    1 (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of onion or French onion soup
    1 (10-3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1-1/4 cups water
    1 envelope regular onion soup mix

    In 13-x-9 x-2 inch baking dish or pan, layer the rice and mushrooms, the chicken pieces. In a bowl, combine the condensed soups, water and dry onion soup mix. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Cover tightly with foil.

    Bake in 375� F. oven for 1-3/4 to 2 hours or until the rice is tender and chicken is done. Makes 6 servings.
