    Low-Fat Country Cooking � P. Waymire; Yellow Springs, OH
    Christmas Appetizer Meatballs

    Yield: 4 dozen

    1 lb. ground round
    Egg substitute equivalent to 1 egg
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/4 c. skim milk
    1/3 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

    Sauce:
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 T. Worcestershire sauce
    1/8 tsp. pepper

    Combine the first 6 ingredients; mix well. Shape into 1-in. balls. In a skillet over medium heat; brown meatballs; drain. Place in a 2-1/2 qt, baking dish. Combine sauce ingredients. Pour over meatballs. Bake, uncovered, at 350� for 50-60 minutes or until meatballs are done.
