    To reduce the salt...Use lower sodium Onion soup Mix in the Make-Your-Own section.
    Yield: 8 servings.

    2 pounds red potatoes -- sliced 1/2" thick
    1/3 cup vegetable oil
    1 envelope onion soup mix

    Combine all ingredients in a large plastic bag; shake until well coated.Empty bag into an ungreased 13x9x2-inch baking pan.

    Cover and bake at 350degrees F. for 35 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover and bake 15minutes longer or until potatoes are tender.



    Per Serving: 184 Calories; 9g Fat (45.1% calories from fat); 3g Protein; 23g Carbohydrate; 2g Dietary Fiber; trace Cholesterol; 443mg Sodium. ++++ Exchanges: 1-1/2 Grain(Starch); 2 Fat.
