    Recipe Introduction

here is a great share of an interesting recipe...came from the recipe email!!!

    List of Ingredients

1 whole chicken, washed well and dried on the inside.
Place it in a shallow roasting pan.
    Sprinkle the inside cavity with
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Take a large lemon and pierce it a million times with a wooden skewer.

    Recipe

Take a large lemon and pierce it a million times with a wooden skewer.
Stuff it into the cavity. Sew the opening closed with an ordinary thread
and needle. Make sure its upside down in the pan (breastside down),
and bake uncovered at 325* for an hour, then flip it rightside up, and bake
another hour. Take out the lemon and toss it out. Cut the ckicken into big
chunks with a kitchen scissors (it will fall of the bones), and serve in the pan
with all the delicious juices. Now put a folded hot pad under one end of the
pan so the juices collect in the other end. Take your chunks of crusty bread
and dredge it through the juices. Now take turns. There's enough for everybody.
When you've eaten most of the chicken, now start tearing the remaining carcas
apart with your fingers, making sure every bite is eaten. This is the
Caveman part of the recipe--of course, you've left the knives and forks in
the dust long ago--and please lick your fingers so you don't waste any
of it! The Miracle part of the recipe is that it tastes sooo good every time,
and its sooo easy. One regular chicken satisfied all 5 of us. We do low salt
here, so you could add a little more if you like.
Hope you enjoy this as much as we do!
