    Ground Beef Steak & Mushroom Gravy

    List of Ingredients


    • 1-1/2 lbs. ground chuck
    • 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, quartered
    • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 can evaporated milk
    • 2 tbsp. A-1 Thick & Hearty Steak sauce or to taste


    Instructions


    1. Divide the ground meat into four or five patties, making them small in circumference & about 3/4 to 1 inch thick.
    2. Brown the patties on both sides in a hot skillet. Reduce heat, remove patties and set aside.
    3. Add mushrooms to skillet and fry until they begin to wilt. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Heat to boiling. Return beef patties to the skillet, reduce heat and continue cooking until patties are cooked through.
    4. Serve over noodles or rice, or alongside a baked potato.


    Final Comments


    Any steak sauce of your choice is good seasoning here - A-1, Heinz, worcestershire sauce. Tinker til your heart's content. :[)
