    Devonshire Cream


    List of Ingredients


    • 8 ounces mascarpone
    • 2 1/4 cups heavy whipping cream (not ultrapasteurized)
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
    • small pinch salt


    Instructions


    1. Put all the ingredients in a large stainless steel bowl.
    2. Whisk the cream until it holds its shape.
    3. Refrigerate the cream until ready to use.


    Final Comments


    This cream should be used within an hour of being made or else you will have to rewhip it.
