    Hot Cinnamon Milk

    Source of Recipe

    Lily

    Recipe Introduction

    Origins Unknown

    List of Ingredients

1 cup Pure Silk Almond milk
    1/2 Tablespoon Agave Syrup
    1/2 teaspoon saigon cinnamon

    Recipe

Pour agave in cup first, add milk and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Microwave (you could heat on your stovetop if you prefer) for 1 min. Stir, add a little cold almond milk to cool if necessary. Drink carefully.

When I was a little kid, if any of us got laryngitis, or a sore throat, the sure-fire cure was hot milk and honey. We'd heat up a cup of milk, add honey to taste and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. Worked like a charm, and as you may imagine, became a comfort food. So, the other night I was looking for a replacement and came up with this. Instead of being just as good, it's way better. It has all the yumminess of a cinnamon bun, in a hot drink.
