    Honey
    Desiccated coconut shreds

    Recipe



    In a small saucepan simmer 1/2 cup honey or less for about 8 minutes (less time for less honey). Drip the honey over a cup or so of coconut shreds in a small bowl with sides.

    Toss the mixture with a spoon, so that as much coconut as possible gets coated with honey.

    Keep tossing until mixture is cool enough to handle. Then shape into balls or bars by rolling and pressing the mixture between the palms of your hands.

    NOTE: Return any unstuck coconut to the jar or use for another recipe.
