    8 chicken thighs with bone, skins removed

    salt and pepper

    1 T. oil

    1 c. onion, chopped

    2 c. carrots in �� chunks

    2 t. paprika

    1 t. ginger

    � t. turmeric

    � t. cinnamon

    3 T. lemon juice

    1 c. chicken broth

    1 T. brown sugar

    15 oz. can garbanzo beans

    Recipe



    1. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Heat oil and brown chicken. Remove to plate.

    2. Saute onion, add carrots and saut� for 2 min. Sprinkle on seasonings and stir.

    3. Return chicken to pan and add all other ingredients except beans. Bring to boil then cover and simmer 30 min. Stir in beans and heat through.

    4. Serve over rice or with Moroccan Rice.
