    1 whole chickens

    2 t. salt
    � t. black pepper

    � t. paprika
    � t. onion powder
    � t. dried thyme
    � t. cayenne pepper
    � t. garlic powder
    1 onion, quartered

    Recipe



    1. Mix spices together. Remove giblets from chicken. Rinse chicken cavity and pat dry. Rub chicken inside and out with spice mixture. Place onion in the cavity. Place chickens in a resealable bag or double wrap with plastic wrap.
    2. Refrigerate overnight or at least 4-6 hrs.

    3. Preheat oven to 250 . Place chicken in a roasting pan and bake uncovered for 5 hrs to a minimum internal temp of 180. Let stand 10 min. before carving.
