    This delicious sour cherry sorbet recipe is beyond refreshing and so easy to make. Try serving it for a wholesome dessert or a special palate cleanser before a chicken or duck course.

    List of Ingredients




    5 1/2 cups frozen, pitted sour cherries
    1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
    3/4 cup water
    1/4 cup granulated sugar

    Recipe



    Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend them until the cherry mixture is smooth.
    Freeze the mixture in an ice-cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
    Serve the cherry sorbet immediately or freeze it for an additional hour for a hard set.

    This sour cherry sorbet recipe makes 4 to 6 servings.
