    1 family pkg. hamburger (about 2.5 lbs) lean is better
    2 - 3 eggs depending on the size
    1 med onion diced fine
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1/2 tsp chili powder
    2 tbs gf worchestershire sauce
    1 - 1 1/2 c thickener (gf bread crumbs, crushed corn flakes, potatoe flakes, corn flour, or gf oatmeal)

    sweet n sour sauce ingredients
    1 can pineapple tidbits
    1 c brown sugar
    1 Tbs gf soy sauce
    1 tsp ground ginger
    2 Tbs cider vinegar
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 c cold water
    2 Tbs cornstarch

    Recipe



    Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Combine meat, eggs, onion, spices and sauce.

    Mix well.

    Add thickener until you can form a ball in your hand and it holds its shape.

    Make meatballs and place on a cookie sheet.

    Bake for 30 minutes.

    While meatballs are baking prepare sweet and sour sauce.

    Sweet and Sour Sauce directions:
    Drain pineapple juice into a pot, (reserve tidbits) add sugar, soya sauce, ginger, vinegar and garlic. Bring to a boil. Add cornstarch disolved in cold water. Stir until thick. Add tidbits and serve. Just a little drizzled over the meatballs is enough.
