    Rich Chocolate Fudge

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 c. sugar
    • 1 can (14 oz) evaporated milk
    • 1 c. butter or margarine
    • 1 pkg. (12 oz) semi sweet choc. chips
    • 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme or 1 1/2 c. mini marshmallows
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 1 c. chopped nuts


    Instructions


    1. In 4-quart microproof bowl, mix sugar, milk and butter. Cook on HI (max power) 20-22 minutes or until a few drops of mixture in cold water forms a soft ball (234 degrees on candy thermometer). DO NOT leave thermometer in oven while cooking.

    2. Stir well every 5 minutes during cooking. Stir in chocolate chips and marshmallow creme until mixture is well blended.

    3. Add vanilla and nuts, mix.

    4. Pour into buttered 9-inch pan for thick pieces or 12x7x2 inch dish for thinner pieces.

    5. Cool and cut into squares.

    6. Makes about 48 pieces.



    Final Comments


    If start with butter that is melted you only have to cook this about 19 minutes.
