    List of Ingredients


    • 4 c. peeled and chopped ripe tomatoes
    • 1/4 c. chopped onion
    • 6 tbsp. butter
    • 1/4 c. flour
    • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/8 tsp. pepper
    • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    • 2 c. half and half
    • 2 c. milk


    Instructions


    1. Simmer tomatoes and onions in butter over low heat. Put in blender and mix well. Put in containers, cool and freeze.
    2. To make soup, thaw and heat adding the following ingredients...flour, salt, pepper, baking soda, half and half and milk. Blend the flour, salt and pepper and add to the thawed tomato mixture.
    3. Add baking soda, half and half and milk. Mix well and heat.
