- THICK:
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- dash salt
- dash pepper
- 1 c. milk
- MEDIUM:
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- dash salt
- dash pepper
- 1 c. milk
- THIN:
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2-1 Tbsp. flour
- dash salt
- dash pepper
- 1 c. milk
Instructions
- Melt butter over low heat and add flour to it. When smooth add the milk, salt and pepper.
- Makes 1 c. white sauce.
Final Comments
This is really good to use for creamed eggs, creamed peas, creamed asparagas, chipped beef gravy, and many other things. I usually use the Medium one.
