List of Ingredients
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 to 4 tablespoons whipping cream
- 12 graham cracker halves
- 24 chocolate chips
- 12 red-hot candies
- 12 mini pretzel twists
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the supar, vanillaand enough cream to reach a spreading consistency; cover and set aside.
- Using a sharp knife and an easy sawing motion, cut graham crackers diagonally in half, forming two triangles. Frost one triangle. With frosted triangle on the bottom, overlap triangles so the shortest side of un-frosted triangle runs along the cut edge of the frosted triangle;match the smallest points of crackers to form the nose.
- The remaining narrow points of both crackers form the ears. Frost top cracker. Gently press on chocolate chips for the eyes and red-hots for the nose.
- Using the knife, cut pretzels in half to form antlers; press onto ears.
- Place on wire rack until set.
- Yield: one dozen
Final Comments
You will need to make sure you have extra graham crackers and pretzels on hand because they break easily when cut.
