Brown Sugar Hot Cocoa #1

1/4 cup powdered cocoa, or
...3, 1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate
...squares
4 cups hot milk
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt

Stir together the cocoa, brown sugar and salt
in a saucepan.
(Or melt chocolate with 1/3 cup water over
a low heat).
Combine milk with cocoa mixture in pan.
Stir until well mixed.
Heat to piping hot, not boiling.
Serve.

Brown Sugar Hot Cocoa #2

3, 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate squares
1/3 cup water
4 cups hot milk
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt

Melt the chocolate with the water over a low heat.
Slowly mix in the milk, brown sugar and salt.
Whisk until evenly blended.
Serve.
