It didn't say, but I think the sugar used in these type
of drinks is powdered confectioners sugar

Strawberry Julius

1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed
2 egg whites
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 cup crushed ice

Put all ingredients into a blender. Blend on high for about a
minute, maybe a little more if you like your drink less (frozen).
Makes enough for 2-3 people.
