    Make one big casserole for big parties or make 2 smaller
    casseroles, one for now and freeze the other for later.

    Crab Pasta Casserole

    8 ounces uncooked pasta
    2 large onions, chopped
    1/2 pounds mushrooms, freshly sliced
    1/2 C. green pepper chopped
    2 clove Garlic-minced
    1/2 C. butter
    16 ounces crab meat, chopped
    1/2 C. sour cream
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. basil
    1 1/2 C. shredded Cheddar cheese

    Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
    Grease 2, 8 inch baking dishes.
    Cook pasta al dente to package directions.
    Meanwhile in a skillet, saute onion, garlic, mushrooms
    and green pepper in butter until crisp tender.
    Remove from the heat.
    Drain pasta and add to vegetable mixture.
    Stir in crab, sour cream, basil and salt.
    Pour into baking dishes and sprinkle with cheese.
    Cover and freeze 1 casserole for up to 1 month.
    Cover and bake the 2nd casserole for 20 minutes.
    Uncover and bake for 5 more minutes.
