Butterscotch Brownies Mix

1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup white sugar
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions: Mix together flour, salt and baking powder. Set aside.Layer ingredients in order given in a 1 quart wide mouth canning jar. Add flour mixture last. Pack each layer.

Butterscotch Brownies

You will need:
3/4 c. softened butter or margarine, (do not use diet)
2 slightly beaten eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Empty the jar of brownie mix into a large mixing bowl.
Thoroughly blend together. Add the butter, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until completely blended.
Spread into a sprayed 9x13" baking pan.
Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Cool 15 minutes in baking pan. Cut into 1 1/2" squares. Cool completely in pan.
Makes 2 dozen brownies.
