    Kitty Tuna Treats

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. nonfat powdered dry milk
    1/2 can tuna, in oil OR 1/2 c. cooked chicken,
    ...chopped into small pieces
    1 tbsp. vegetable oil OR cod liver oil
    1 whole egg
    1/4 c. water

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350. Coat baking sheets with cooking spray.
    Use a large bowl to mash the tuna or chicken into smaller pieces.
    Then add flour and milk and mix well.
    Pour in water and oil. Mix well again.
    Beat the egg in a separate dish until dish until foamy.
    Add to the tuna mixture and mix well.
    The dough mix will be sticky, don't worry.
    Shape the dough into small bite size balls, about the size of a marble.
    Put on the baking sheets and flatten with hand.
    Bake for 10 minutes.
    Remove the treats from the oven and wait 5 minutes.
    Then turn the treats over so other side will cook.
    Bake 10 more minutes or until golden brown in color.
    Place treats on cookie rack to cool and let cool for 15 minutes.
    Store in an air tight container and store in the refrigerator or a cool dry
    place.
    Makes approximately 60 treats.
