Apple Angel Cake

Recipe Introduction

Try this using other canned fruits, like cherries, blueberries, etc.

List of Ingredients

1 box of fat free angel food cake mix
1, 16 ounce can of apple pie filling
(or use your own homemade)
3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
lemon/lime soda
water


Recipe

Stir togehter the cake mix, cinnamon, and pie filling.
Add enough of the soda to make the batter thick, smooth
and pourable.
Pour in the spring form pan which does not need to be
coated with anything.
Place rack in base and add 1 1/2 cups water.
Place the spring form pan on the rack.
Cover, valve open, high heat, and cook for 10 minutes.
Uncover and add 1 1/2 cups water to the base.
Cover, valve closed, medium heat and cook for 10 minutes.
Uncover and add 1 1/2 cups more water to the base.
Cover, valve opoen, high heat, and cook for 10 minutes.
Uncover to check if done.
If it needs more cooking, add 1 cup more water to base.
Cover, valve closed, high heat, and cook for 10 minutes.
