    1/2 LB. BACON
    3/4 C. CHOPPED ONION
    2 TBSP. FLOUR
    1 1/2 TBSP. SUGAR
    1 1/2 TSP. SALT
    1/2 TSP. CELERY SEED (OPTIONAL)
    DASH OF PEPPER
    3/4 C. WATER
    1/3 C. VINEGAR
    6 POTATOES (BOILED)
    3 EGGS (HARD-COOKED)

    CUT UP BACON AND FRY. REMOVE FROM PAN THEN FRY CHOPPED
    ONION IN FAT. ADD FLOUR, SUGAR, SALT AND CELERY SEED. COOK
    ON LOW HEAT UNTIL BUBBLY. STIR IN WATER AND VINEGAR. RAISE
    HEAT TO 350 DEGREES, BOIL FOR 1 MINUTE. ADD BACON, POTATOES
    AND EGG.
