    Morris Library Carrots

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 1/2 Tbl. cornstarch
    • 1/4 cup white vinegar
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/8 tsp pepper
    • 4 cups cooked sliced carrots
    • 2 Tbl. butter


    Instructions


    1. Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Blend in vinegar and water. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until thick and bubbling.

    2. Add salt, pepper, butter and carrots. Heat, stirring gently until carrots are hot through.
