List of Ingredients




1 1/2 cups flour
3 tablespoons oats
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup raisins
2 apples, pared, cored and cubed
3/4 cup skim milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup applesauce
1 egg white, beaten



Recipe



Preheat oven at 350�F. Prepare 12 muffin pans with cooking spray and flour. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt and raisins. In another mixing bowl, combine the apples, milk, brown sugar, applesauce, and egg white. Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients just until moistened. Use an ice cream scoop to fill muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake 20 to 30 minutes, or until lightly browned.
