    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 cups flour
    3/4 cup rolled oats
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 cup margarine -- softened
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 cup maple syrup
    1/2 teaspoon maple extract
    1/4 cup pecans -- chopped

    Recipe



    In a small bowl, stir together flour, rolled oat, baking powder, salt
    and cinnamon. Cream together brown sugar, margarine and egg. Add
    milk, maple syrup and maple extract to creamed mixture until well-
    blended. Combine dry ingredients with creamed mixture. Stir in
    pecans. Spoon into greased muffin cups. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes
    at 350�F. Serve warm. Yield: 12 muffins.
