    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening (half margarine)
    2 eggs
    1 t. vanilla

    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 t. soda
    1 t. salt
    3 c. oats
    1/2 c. nuts

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350�. Cream together the first five ingredients in large bowl. Combine flour, soda & salt in a smaller bowl; add to large bowl & mix thoroughly. Add oats, mixing well.

    Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350� for 10 - 12 min.
