    4 oz of Corn Beef, thinly sliced
    4 Slices of Dark Rye Bread
    2 oz Grated Gruyere Cheese
    2 Tblsp of Russian dressing (see note)
    4 oz Sauerkraut
    2 Tblsp of Butter

    Recipe



    To assemble sandwiches, spread the Russian dressing on two out of four slices of bread.
    Place corn beef on top, cover with sauerkraut and sprinkle the Gruyere cheese. Cover with other piece of bread.
    Melt butter in pan big enough to hold both sandwiches, place the sandwiches in the pan and brown on one side for 2-3 minutes. Flip the sandwiches over and brown again for 2-3 minutes more.

    Slice in half and serve immediately with your favorite potato chips and pickles.

    Note: To make Russian dressing, mix equal amounts of ketchup and mayonnaise. (Optional) add some chopped pickles into it.

    Serves 2 people
