    BASIL BUTTER

    List of Ingredients

    1-1/2 cups loosely packed fresh basil leaves
    3/4 pound butter (no subsitutes), softened
    1-1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    1-1/2 tsp. white pepper

    Recipe

    BASIL BUTTER

    In a food processor, chop basil. Add butter, lemon juice and pepper; blend until smooth.

    May be used immediately or drop by half-tablespoons onto a cookie sheet; freeze. Remove from cookie sheet and store in
    freezer container or bag.

    Use to flavour chicken, fish, vegetables or bread. Makes about 4 dozen balls.
