    Quick Cherry Cobbler

    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    1/2 cup almond extract
    1 cup baking mix
    1 TBS sugar
    1/4 cup milk
    1 TBS softened margarine

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400 degrees


    Mix pie filling with extract in an unbuttered 1 1/2 quart casserole. Heat this in the oven until hot, for about 15 minutes. Mix the baking mix, sugar, margarine and milk with a fork until it makes a dough. Beat vigorously for about 25 strokes. Drop this mixture by spoonfuls onto the hot cherry mix and bake until topping is golden brown which should take 20 to 25 minutes. It is best served while it is warm.

    Makes 6 servings
