Creamy Potato Soup

List of Ingredients




8 medium potatoes, diced
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 cup celery, diced
1 1/2 cup water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 tsp pepper
2 cups milk
2 Tbs flour or cornstarch

Optional, add any or all:

1 cup sour cream
4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1 tsp chopped chives
crumbled bacon
fresh parmesan cheese, grated
snipped chives


Recipe



Cook potatoes, onion, celery, pepper, and bouillon cubes in the water until soft. Stir the flour into the milk and add to the potatoes. Add any other ingredients you choose, and heat over medium heat until the mixture thickens. Stir constantly to avoid scorching. For garnish, sprinkle the bacon, chives, or Parmesan cheese on top after serving in bowls.
