    Cinnamon Coffee Cake

    Cake:
    2 cups flour
    3/4 cup sugar
    3 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/3 tsp nutmeg
    1/3 cup shortening
    1 cup milk
    Crumb mixture:
    2/3 cup brown sugar
    2 tbsp flour
    2 tbsp butter
    2 tbsp butter
    1 cup pecans, chopped

    Recipe



    Combine dry ingredients; add shortening and milk and beat 1 1/2 minutes. Turn half into greased and floured 8 x 12" pan. Sprinkle 2/3 of crumb mixture over batter, cover with remaining batter, top with crumb mixture. Bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees.
