- 1 PKG HAM SEASONING (CUT IN CUBES)
- 1 ONION (CHOPPED)
- 2 LG CAN TOMATOES (RUN THROUGH BLENDER)
- 2 RED POTATOES (CUBED)
- 1 PKG PASTA (BUCATINI)
- 1 PK CHEDDAR CHEESE
Instructions
- IF YOU SAVE BACON DRIPPINGS, BROWN THE HAM OFF IN THE BACON GREASE. IF NOT, USE OLIVE OIL
- AFTER BROWNED, REMOVE AND DRAIN ON PAPER TOWEL.
- IN THE SAME POT (ADD ADDL OIL IF NECESSARY) ADD TOMATOES, AND THE HAM BACK IN THE MIXTURE
- SALT & PEPPER
- COOK FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES
- MEANWHILE, COOK YOUR PASTA
- IN A LARGE CASSEROLE DISH SPRAYED WITH PAM, ADD THE FIRST LAYER OF PASTA. COVER THE PASTA WITH TOMATO/HAM SAUCE. ADD THE SECOND LAYER OF PASTA. COVER WITH THE TOMATO/HAM SAUCE. BE GENEROUS WITH THE SAUCE. IT SHOULD BE VERY WET.
- TOP WITH GRATED CHEDDAR CHEESE.
- BAKE FOR 10-15 MINUTES @ 350 DEGREES (UNTIL CHEESE MELTS)
