    BBQ Pulled Pork

    Source of Recipe

    Recipe Introduction

Great Recipe for family gatherings. I also like to serve on buns with a side of cole slaw and sweet potato baked fries.

    List of Ingredients

4 to 9 lb. Boneless, Center Cut Pork Loin
    garlic
    thyme
    oregano
    basil
    BBQ Sauce (Your favorite)
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    olive oil

    Recipe

Cut your pork roast to fit your crock pot. Before placing roast in the crock pot cut slits into top of roast about 1/4 inch deep. Place a garlic clove into each slit. Rub roast with a little olive oil. Mix together 1 tsp. of each of the following herbs: thyme, oregano & basil (dried) and rub all over roast.Take your roast and place into the crock pot, add 1 to 1 1/2 cup of chicken broth. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. After the roast has cooked for 6 hrs., remover cover and add 1/2 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce. Place cover back on and continue cooking 2 to 4 hrs more (depending on size of roast) until the pork is tender enough to shred. Once the pork is cooked remove from the crock pot and pull the pork, using a fork into shredded pieces. To the shredded pork add your favorite BBQ sauce to your taste. Serve on toasted buns or crisp Italian or french bread. Enjoy!
