    Recipe Introduction

An easy way to prepare a lasagna that taste just as good as oven baked! A Favorite "Super Bowl" dish!

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. of ground beef
32 oz. of your favorite pasta sauce ( I use my homemade sauce)
    extra virgin olive oil
    1 egg
    parsley
1 or 2 boxes of uncooked lasagna noodles
about 3 cups of shredded mozzarella
1 cup of romano pecorino finely grated cheese
    2lbs. ricotta cheese

    Recipe

Add the extra virgin olive oil to heated skillet and then brown meat, breaking up any clumps. When the ground beef is cooked, drain offf any liquid and add 2 cups of sauce to the ground beef. Set aside. In a seperate bowl mix the ricotta cheese with the parsley, egg and 1/2 cup of pecorino romano cheese.
Layers: In Crockpot, layer as follows
Place a layer of the ground beef & sauce mixture on the bottom of your crock pot. Next a layer of the uncooked lasagna noodles. Break the noodles to fit if you have to. Then top with a layer of the ricotta cheese. Next top with a layer of the shredded mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with romano pecorino. Repeat layers. When finished layering, top with shredded mozzarella, extra sauce and grated romano peccorino.
Cover. Cook on High 4 to 5 hours or Low for 6 to 8 hours. Enjoy with a green salad, crusty garlic bread and a glass of red wine! YUM!
