    Crock Sweet & Sour Pork

    Recipe Introduction

I wanted a sweet and sour pork recipe I could do in the crock that was easy and not overly sweet or sour. I basically just put the basic ingredients together that I would use in a simple bbq sauce and tweaked it a little to satisfy my taste for sweet and sour.

    List of Ingredients

    Ingredients:

    Pork Tenderloin
    Garlic Powder
    1 tsp.dried thyme
    1 tsp. dried basil
1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
    3 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 cup crushed pineapple in juice (undrained)
    1/4 cup vinegar
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
honey or sweetener to taste ( I used 4 Tbsp. honey) If watching your sugar intake you can use a sugar substitute to taste.

    Recipe

Sprinkle garlic powder and dried herbs over the pork tenderloin and rub in. Place the seasoned pork into crockpot. Mix all of the remaining ingredients in a bowl and wisk well. Pour this mixture over your pork roast, cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours depending on the size of your roast. I used a 4lb. pork tenderloin and cooked on low for 6 hours.

Remove from crock, let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Place slices on platter and drizzle with sauce from crock pot. I place extra sauce in a gravy dish for those who may wish additional sauce. Enjoy!
