    My recipe

    List of Ingredients

    2 3/4 Cups All-purpose Flour
    2 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
     Teaspoon Salt
3/4 Cup Butter, at room temperature
2 1/3 Cups Firmly Packed Dark Brown Sugar
    3 Jumbo Eggs
    2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
2 Cups Semisweet or Milk Chocolate Chips
1 1/4 Cups Coarsely Chopped Pecans

    Recipe

Position rack in the middle of oven and preheat to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Sift together sifted flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl; set aside.

Place butter and brown sugar in a large bowl. Using a whisk or an electric mixer set on medium speed, beat until light and fluffy for 5 to 7 minutes with a whisk or 3 to 5 minutes with a mixer. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.

Using the whisk or the mixer set on low speed, beat in the flour mixture. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans. Pour batter into prepared baking dish, smoothing the top.

Bake until the top looks dry, 40 to 45 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely, the cut into squares.

Store in a covered container at room temperature up to 1 week.
