    My recipe

    List of Ingredients

    2 Cups Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
    1 3/4 Cups Flour, unsifted
    1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
     Teaspoon Baking Soda
     Teaspoon Salt
     Cup Butter, softened
    3/4 Cup Sugar
    2 Large Eggs
     Cup Milk
2 Cups Milk Chocolate Maxi Chips
    2 Cups Chopped Walnuts

    Recipe

Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler over low heat, stirring until smooth (or you can melt in the microwave oven). Remove from heat and set aside.

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a medium mixing bowl; set aside.

Grease a 9x13x2-inch pan; preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar, on medium speed, until light and smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, whipping until light and fluffy. Scrape melted chocolate into creamed mixture with a rubber spatula. Blend at low speed, stopping to scrape sides and bottom of bowl.

When well blended, with mixer running, gradually add half the flour mixture, milk and remaining flour, mixing well after each addition. Remove bowl from mixer and fold in milk chocolate maxi chips and chopped walnuts by hand; batter will be stiff.

Spread into prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out almost clean. It is best not to overbake. Cool before cutting.

MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS: Place semi-sweet chocolate chips in a medium glass or microwave-proof bowl. Heat at 50% power setting for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir until free of lumps. Continue recipe as directed.

YIELD 24 two-inch squares. This is so rich, moist and chocolatey, you can't eat just one!
