French Fried Liver

It's a long story why I like liver and it involves a college diner. Here is something a bit different.
List of Ingredients
- 1 pound calf liver
- 2 tbsp French Dressing [see salad dressings on here]
- 2 cups salt water
- 8 slices bacon
Instructions
- IF the liver still has a skin: Soak liver in salt water for 30 minutes then scald in boiling water. Remove outside skin and veins
- Sprinkle with French dressing and let stand 1 hour in refrigerator. Drain and slice into 3 strips.
- Deep fry in hot fat [380F] for 3 to 5 minutes. Drain on brown paper.
- Fry bacon crisp and use as garnish.
- Serves 4.
Final Comments
Every kids nightmare.. French fries turned into liver.
