    Crockpot Dressing

    List of Ingredients

    1 pan cornbread (8 in.)
    8 slices dry white bread
    4 eggs
    2 cups chicken broth
    1 can cream of mushroom
    1 can cream of chicken
    2 tsp. sage
    1 Tblsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 cup chopped celery
    1 cup chopped onion
    2 Tblsp. butter

    Recipe

    Cook cornbread a day ahead if possible.

    Tear 8 slices of dry white bread into small pieces. (I dry mine in the oven on a slow temp. for about 15 min.) Crumble the cornbread into small chunks and combine with the bread pieces.

    Saute onion and celery in butter about 10 minutes.

    In a LARGE bowl, mix all ingredients gently. Transfer to a large crockpot. Cook 2 hours on high....then 4 hours on low.
