    Ginger Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. of boneless lean beef
    • 1 tbp. cornstarch
    • 1 tbp. sherry
    • 2 tbps. vegetable oil
    • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
    • 2 tbps. minced ginger root
    • 1 onion chopped, slanted
    • 1 yellow pepper cut into strips
    • 3 cups of broccoli florets
    • 1/2 cup vegetable or chickin stock
    • 2 tbps. oyster sauce
    • 2 tbps. hoisin sauce (optional)
    • 2 cups bean sprouts
    • 1 tbps. soya sauce


    Instructions


    1. Cut beef thinly across grain

    2. In a bowl stir corn starch, sherry and soya sauce add beef and marinate for at least 10 minutes

    3. In a wok heat oil over high heat, add garlic, ginger and beef and stir fry until meat is brown on all sides (about 2 minutes) and remove from pan

    4. Heat 1 tbp. oil add onion and sweet pepper, stir fry 1 minute

    5. Add broccoli, vegetable stock, oyster sauce and hoisin sauce, stir cook until well mixed, cover and steam for 2 minutes

    6. Stir in beef and been sprouts and toss to mix until heated through
