    List of Ingredients


    • 3 lbs. beef stew meat
    • 1 1/2 tbsp. oilve oil
    • 1 1/2 tbsp. butter
    • 3 medium onions, sliced
    • 2 tbsp. cider vinegar
    • 1 1/2 cups beer (full flvored)
    • 2 tsp. brown sugar
    • 3 cups beef broth
    • 2 bay leaves
    • 1/2 tsp. Thyme


    Instructions


    1. In a deep pan heat oil and butter
    2. Add beef and brown on all sides
    3. Remove beef with a slotted spoon
    4. Add onions and cook until soft
    5. Add remaining ingredients and stir
    6. Return beef to pan
    7. Cover and place in a 325 degree oven
    8. Cook for about 2 hours oe until beef is very tender
