�� � Chocolate Ingredients
�� o 1/2 c Honey
�� o 2/3 c Butter, margarine, or lard
�� o 1 Egg
�� o 1 ts Vanilla extract -OR- peppermint extract
�� o 2 c Whole wheat flour
�� o 1/3 c Cocoa powder
�� o Grape-nuts(tm) cereal
�� � Gingerbread Ingredients
�� o 1/4 c Honey
�� o 1/4 c Molasses
�� o 2/3 c Butter or margarine, or lard
�� o 1 Egg
�� o 2 1/3 c Whole wheat flour
�� o Ginger, cinnamon, cloves - to taste - (maybe 1/2 tsp each)
�� o Grape-nuts(tm) cereal
�� � Mix-ins
�� o Coconut; (worms)
�� o Chocolate chips
�� o Butterscotch chips
�� o Peanut butter chips
�� o Spaghetti or ramen noodles - cooked - (worms)
�� o Corn
�� o Peanuts
�� o "puffy pastel things" -find at Chinese restaurants
�� NOTE: "puffy pastel things are to look like styrofoam packing pellets-I haven't tried thisRecipe
�� 1. Microwave the honey till it bubbles (about 1 minute)
�� 2. Add the butter, (I've been told using lard makes for a more realistic texture and softer
�� cookie) and the molasses, if any
�� 3. Add the egg
�� 4. Mix well
�� 5. Then mix in all the other stuff
�� 6. Add mix-ins of your choice to some or all of the batter.
�� 7. Chill 1 hour in the freezer or several hours in the fridge
�� 8. Roll dough logs of random length
�� 9. Roll logs in grape- nuts
�� 10. Bake at 350 degrees till done (maybe 10 to 15 minutes but with my flaky oven you
�� never know).
�� 11. Serve in a box on a bed of grapenuts, with a clean sand box shovel.
