Desserts: Easy Harvest Apple Ring Pastry

2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
1 can Comstock apple fruit filling
3/4 cup powder sugar
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/4 cup toasted chopped walnuts
Recipe
Unroll crescent roll dough; separate into 16 triangles. Arrange triangles in a circle on a greased 14" pizza pan with wide ends overlapping in center and points towards the outside. There should be a 3" diameter circle in center. Spoon fruit filling evenly over dough to within 2 1/2 inch of outside points of dough and to within 1/2 inch of center edge. Bring pints of triangles up over filling and tuck under base at center. Filling will not be completely covered. Bake at 350�F for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, combine powder sugar and syrup in small bowl; mix until smooth. Drizzle over warm apple ring and sprinkle with walnuts. Serve warm. Yield: 8 servings.
