Chocolate Caramel Pecan Cookies

1 cup Margarine
1/4 cup Lightly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup Granulated sugar
1 Egg
1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
2 cups All-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1/4 teaspoon Salt
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1 cup Caramels, quartered
1/4 cup Coarsely chopped pecansRecipe
Preheat oven to 375�F. Cream margarine, sugars, egg and vanilla in large bowl on medium speed of electric mixer until light and creamy. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture; beating at low speed until blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 375�F for 9 - 12 minutes, or until light golden. Makes about 36 cookies. Freezes well.
