    No-Bake Chocolate Cookies

    Recipe Introduction

This has saved me from my chocolate cravings.

    List of Ingredients

    2 tsp baking cocoa
    4 tsp Equal
    1/2 cup oatmeal
    1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp coconut or other flavorings (optional)

    Recipe

Mix cocoa, equal, and oatmeal. Add enough hot water to make oatmeal chewy. Roll mixture into six or seven superball-sized balls and chill in refrigerator (or freeze).

Variation: Use hot coffee in place of water for mocha cookies. Or nut (almond or walnut) for a chocolate-nut flavor. Also, almond and coconut give you a "Almond Joy" type flavor...yum.

This recipe counts as 1 cup of carb. You can use the whole recipe as a pre-workout meal, or 1/2 the recipe as a regular carb

Start with about 2 TBS of HOT water or coffee and add from there. I also add a bit of vanilla (I use about 1/2 tsp, but use to your taste) If they don't hold together, add a bit more liquid. If you get them a bit too wet, let them sit for just a minute and they will soak some of the liquid up, but you have to be careful not to add too much liquid or they will be mushy.......they're still good, lol....they're just not the right consistency for no-bake cookies. When made correctly, these travel really well.
